Workplace Jazz – Coming Soon

The premise of Workplace Jazz is to help business executives and leaders understand the similarities that great Jazz ensembles have in common with great companies and that the culture of a great music ensemble and orchestra can be emulated and imitated in a great company and that great companies have the emotional connections that are similar to great music ensembles. Everyone is playing their part in harmony and in tempo while expressing the vision of the composer’s musical score.

To win in a fast-paced and changing global environment great teams need to work together towards the same vision, have a standard set of values, and create Buy-in as a team. They need to engage everyone’s head, heart and hands around a set of simplified, streamlined practices with an environment that supports the overall structure where the team wants to go and that positions the team to capitalize on what is best. They need to focus on the ultimate goal which is to win the championship. The championship for companies is to have a viable, effective, and efficient workplace that attracts, retains, grows and serves its customers and constituents in a way that creates an enduring passion for their business and that creates raving fans. Fans that are willing to pay a premium price for their services that they’re receiving because the culture of the workplace is like going to their favorite concert whether it’s Earth, Wind, and Fire, the Grateful Dead, the Boston Pops, or the New York Philharmonic. Being a part of a great company creates the same experience as attending a great musical performance; it endears customer loyalty and passionate raving fans that keep coming back time and time again and turns them into loyal brand ambassadors.
